Share Your LGBTQ Life Stories with Queens Memory

Posted by Yves Etheart

Celebrating at the 2014 Queens Pride Parade.

If you’re a member of the Queens LGBTQ community, Queens Memory wants to hear your stories.

Queens Memory has already interviewed LGBTQ people in their homes, at libraries, and at local community service organizations across the borough. Selections from these oral histories are featured in The Lavender Line, an exhibit about LGBTQ history in Queens running from June 9th to July 30th, 2017.

Queens Memory is also collecting oral histories for a Queens Pride album that will appear on the Queens Memory website.

If you want to share your stories, photographs, and memories with us, please visit http://www.queensmemory.org/contact and submit your name and contact information, and we will contact you to set up an interview.

We look forward to hearing from you!
